Hardware
We have more then modern PCs – all with fast processors, huge HDD and Dual-20" LCD monitors. We also have 15 powerfully Apple MAC machines.
Our active projects stay on four servers with full mirroring and backup of information.
The LAN is Cisco/3COM based with 1GB/sec.
For scanning we use two powerful scanners:
- BW CalComp 500+ A0 size
- Color Contex CHROMA 600dpi A0+ size
Software
The software we use for digital processing and management is MapInfo Professional and Intergraph GeoMedia. For digital cartography we use FreeHand, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. We have developed many additional software solutions for this programs, which ease and rapid our work.
For projects management we have developed our proprietary web-based project management system.
Communications
To ensure best communication with our Clients and within our team we have build three permanent Internet connections with capacity of more that 100Mbits/sec.
Our Clients could send/receive data directly to/from our FTP server.
Weekly statistics in web-based format, password-protected, is available for each project.
Technology
Our main method of work is scanning and digitizing of the data on the screen. But when we work we like to create new, better and faster ways to complete the project. That is why we develop our own tools.
Backups
All the data has two independent backups on external HDs.
