14th Conference on E-Governance
For the third consecutive time Datecs GIS Center was an official partner of the 14th National Conference on e-Governance which took place on 7-8 March 2013 in Sofia under the motto "e-Governance in service of the citizens."
At the conference, the Commercial Director of Datecs GIS Center, Borislav Ivanov, presented how the initiative BGmaps.com-My City and the free BGmaps for Android app can be in service of the citizens and the administration, in order to improve the communication between them and shorten the time of solving the pressing problems.

On March, 6, 2013, a contract was signed between the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Messages and the consortium "Inspire Bulgaria" which includes Datecs Ltd. and David Holding. The consortium is to develop geographically referenced applications, for improving the citizen services and the business at the Ministry, in the field of spatial data and services. The project is funded by the Operational Program "Administrative Capacity" and will be completed in September 2013.

Datecs GIS Center has a new Commercial Director
Since the beginning of 2013, Datecs GIS Center has a new Commercial Director – Borislav Ivanov. His tasks are to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategy as well as bring further progress of the business with corporate clients and partners.
Ivanov has over 12 years experience in telecommunications, media and IT services. He graduated in Business Administration from the University of National and World Economy and the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. He also has MBA from the American University in Bulgaria.
